Faith

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, which consists of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament. Inspiration refers to the verbal inspiration, inerrancy and infallibility of the original manuscripts as men of God were moved by the Holy Spirit to record the very words of God. The Scriptures are our supreme authority in all matters of faith, practice and live. (II Tim. 3:16-17; II Cor. 13:14)

God

We believe there is one, and only one, true and living God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are equal in every divine perfection and who execute distinct but harmonious functions in the work of redemption. (Deut. 6:4; Jn. 1:1-2, 14)

Jesus Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for the redemption of mankind, was bodily resurrected, ascended into heaven to be at the right hand of God the Father, and will personally return someday in power and glory. He is the Son of God and God the Son, the second person of the trinity. He is true man, and true God. (Luke 1:26-38; I Thes. 4:16-17; II Cor. 5:21; Rom. 8:34; Jn. 1:1-2, 14)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, one with the Father and Son, that He convicts the world of sin; and that He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, indwelling all believers, teaching and guiding them into all truth. We believe Christians are commanded to be filled by the Holy Spirit, and not to quench or grieve Him. (Jn. 16:11; I Cor. 6:19; Eph. 4:30, 5:18; I Thess. 5:19)

Man

We believe man was created directly by God in His own image, and that man’s creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary processes. Man willfully disobeyed God,and became spiritually dead in sin. All his descendants are born in sin, inherit a corrupt nature, and are under condemnation. (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:7, 21-22, 3:1-29; Rom. 5:12; Eph. 2:1-3)

Salvation

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; that He arose from the dead for our justification and now ministers in heaven as our High Priest and Advocate. All who believe on His name are justified and receive eternal life. We believe salvation is by the grace of God,and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. (Jn. 1:12-13; I Cor. 15:1-4; Eph. 1:7; I Pet. 1:18-19; Eph. 2:8-9; Jn. 3:3)

The Church

We believe that all born-again persons of the present age compose the Spiritual organism of the body of Christ, His espoused bride, the Church. (I Cor. 12:12-14; II Cor. 11:2; Eph. 1:22-23, 5:26-27)

We also believe that the local church is an organization instituted and organized for the purpose of carrying out the Great Commission, the ordinances of Christ, and for fellowship, worship, teaching, and service. (Acts 2:41-42, 20:18-21)

Creation

We believe the Genesis account of Creation teaches the origin of the universe, the earth and all life thereon, and that it is to be understood literally. Man, animals and vegetable life were made directly by God, and can reproduce only after their own kind. We believe the Creation Week consisted of seven literal days, such as the command of God to work six days and to rest one, and are not ages or epochs. (Gen 1:1-2; 3; Ex. 20:11; Heb. 11:3)
